Writing the Wave: I decided to take a break from digital painting for a moment and update the general depression state. I presume people either wonder or assume they know why I am writing about this.   I do see some are reading it, so perhaps I should answer the question. I think the most straightforward answer is I do it because I think it helps.  I went on a motorcycle ride to every state in the lower 48 this summer, and a few things happened.  Because I was documenting the progress of the trip every night without fail, I rediscovered my love of writing.   I had a small audience, but I had one, and I like it.   I am not a brilliant write

You and Me: It is a long and excrutiatingly slow grind to work your way out of depression. We have all done it at least once I presume from whatever level of funk applies. But there are certainly levels.   Sadness is a horrible thing, but it is a shining bead for the rats that run the dank halls of depression sniffing for something shiny or even something off-shiny or dull.
