This is still a work in progress. I apologize for posting things that are not done, but I am so excited by the progress I cannot wait for people to look at it. I am only learning how to paint, so basically I suck. This is inspired by a photo by Heidi Voss: [link] I have been trying to paint it for a couple weeks now but was just not making progress, until I realized I could get a detailed lighting model by building the pose in daz3d studio so I had a color and lighting reference. It still is not brilliant, but it is way better than I was getting before.
I did a lot of cleanup on the figure, and I went into PSCS to give it the background gradient I had intended from the beginning. This piece could still use a lot of work, but since I am learning, I want to move on to another project and not get obsessed with this one. I ma generally happy with how it turned out, so I am going to let it go.
