"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

The mark making is perfect. I don't know if you did it with brush or knife. I am guessing maybe a bit of both. The colors are nicely balanced. Every primary color is there but the blue dominates with a strong complement of orange. But there is a lot of yellow with the purple complement, and of course the red and green. My color sense is a lot like this, so I appreciate seeing it done by others. The blue is dominant enough to harmonize the other colors and they are balanced nicely in and of themselves. I installed 5 works in a co-op gallery in the Santa Fe art district in Denver. I joined this co-op and will hang out for a few months to test whether I can sell something into an art market that is supportive of local artists. My brain tells me to expect that the answer is no, but I need to test it. I guess this is part of the process of trying to be a professional artist.
